Mind Retreat...

Find some quiet, whether in the garden or a quiet room or by the ocean or a serene river side...

Give your mind time to unravel ...

Be mindful to breathe deeply and calmly.

( Breathing in hope -you can imagine a healing golden light flowing through your body and breathing out any remaining tension.)

Once you feel calm and relaxed...

Give God opportunity to speak into your life and to breathe His life into you.

Paper and pen can be useful to write down any concerns, thoughts, dreams or desires that come to you during this space of calm.

Do this as regularly as you can.

Soothe your SOUL...

Soothing your soul...

Psalm131:2-But I have calmed and quieted myself, I am like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child I am content.

I love dawn and dusk. I find a certain peace that soothes my soul at these times as nature gently wakes up and then gently settles down again for the night. It reminds me of the simplicity and beauty to Gods creation.

The pattern and structure.

The peace and the solitude in those moments most certainly soothe my soul.

I encourage you to find moments, places, people, music etc...

that calms and quiets your inner being.

Soothe your soul.
